Grimlord: Dolce vita sath an as

Yet another Polish band, or as they state themselves on the website of theirs: “Grimlord is young trio formed by three musicians from the Poland.”
Holy shit. From the Poland, huh? Majestic. We usually like music from the Poland. On every amazing band there’s 4000 shitty ones though. Guess in which category we will place Grimlord?
First off – Grimlord? Fuck kinda name is that for a band anyways? I don’t know how it works in the Poland, but in the Sweden that is one asscrack of a moniker for your band. Second, the actual title for the record at hand… Oh, my flying penis – geniuses must have had a gathering to come up with this shit. Apart from these obviously retarded choices for band name and album title, how do they match up to the rest of the world of metal? Well…
It seems like Grimlord is a confused band considering the massive amount of different styles in their music. One second it sounds like some half-heavy metal band with some really weak blasts just to transform into some guitar-wankery exhibition that sounds like its performed by a bunch of retarded 7 year old’s. Throw in some Iron Maiden influences over that and you can start to imagine the mess I am forced to go thru here. Let’s not forget the fantastically shitty vocals and you have a birthday cake of excrements at yer disposal.
At times they fire up a melodic guitar riff that sounds like it could have potential, only to destroy it by using a idiotic drumbeat on top or putting those awful vocals over it, making the final product a fucken disaster. Oh, and do I have to mention the fact that it’s not that tight either when it comes to the deliverance? I did’t think so.
I will wrap shit up by saying the following; it always amazes me how bands take the time to write songs, put their hearts into it, enter a studio, spend money to record and then release it even though it has been shit since the start. There are so many bands out there who need friends like me, who tell it like it is:
Grimlord – you guys fucken suck, Not as horribly as this, but you still fucken suck, and that’s that.
